Blauschmuck by Katharina Winkler

By Katharina Winkler

A very clever, Toulouse Lautrec type, he had a whole coterie of “artsy” friends.

He could be very moody, not budging out of bed, not wanting to do anything all day long, not giving a damn about anything. Although he and Fred yearned for careers in the theatre, they both were becoming disillusioned. “We saw so much terrible theatre,” Cal wrote. The big, blockbuster musicals were Hello, Dolly! and Fiddler on the Roof. Hit comedies included Any Wednesday, Cactus Flower, and The Odd Couple.
